I am building a new home here on wordpress. My old home, lynndoiron.com, is still home, still hung with photos of family and trips, still splattered with an occasional bit of writing, and the first book is available there, in the “store” with a Buy Now button for those interested. My old home is where you might (yawn) visit for more “about me” information. Or, if a random yet undeniable need to donate to my “writer’s conference” cause should suddenly overwhelm you . . . then the old home is the place to go and find that paypal button near the bottom of my “writes” page. (Yes, I am shameless.)
The first book, the one in print, that can be held in hand and has paper pages full of poems (mostly memoirish in nature), that book bears the title hand wording.
Memoir, journalese, reviews, poems — but all in small doses — are what I intend to publish on my “after words” blog. I don’t know about you, but big chunks of online reading make me wonky-eyed; plus, a lot of really excellent work I’ve been reading of late has been niftily serialized . . . so, that’s my plan . . . to break down the longer pieces, offer bites you can swallow if you decide to open a genre and sample some part of the fare. Constructive criticism greatly appreciated. Praise is welcomed as well. And advice.
Dear Lynn
Summer is here
and its enjoyment is equalled
with the radiance of “hand wording”
miles of smiles
